All of our annealers are built using 2300 degree insulating fire brick. Then the brick is backed with 1900 degree insulating board. The end result is five inch thick walls and ceiling. The doors are made of 2400 degree hot face board then insulated with fiber frax to achieve a light weight extremely efficient system. Our door design is so well built that no gasket between the door and the kiln face is needed. The doors also feature fully adjustable magnetic closers that allow you to open and close the doors without having to mess around with latches or levers. The way we place the heating elements is also unique. The brick is routed to accept the element which is a common design in our industry. The way our design differs from others is before we position the element in the brick we insert it into a quartz glass tube. Then the tube along with the high quality metallic coil element is inserted into the brick and held in place with high temperature wire never to move. This method assures the customer gets the full life out of each element. Because of our unique element design you will spend absolutely no time re pinning elements in place and all that new found time could be dedicated to your work. The frame of the annealer is common with our other equipment, mostly made up of 3/16ths steel angle iron with 10 gauge steel sheet metal inlays and reinforced in all the right places. Heavy-Duty casters are available as an option.
Our temperature control panels that are included with the annealer are designed to satisfy any and all inspectors, insurance companies, and UL field inspections. All of our control panels are UL Listed and approved by the Underwriters Laboratory of America. Our panel certification is also accepted in Canada and Europe. All voltages are available. The panel features a solid state relay system with a redundant dual thermocouple design. The controller we recommend is the Watlow EZ-Zone. This controller is the newest innovation from Watlow, integrated to be used with the dual thermocouple system eliminating the use of a second controller to watch over the high/low limit settings of the second thermocouple. This multi-function controller offers ease of use along with the dependable Watlow name.
All of our equipment including the annealers are hand built in Oregon to assure the highest quality and all equipment comes with a one year manufactures defect warranty.
