Our furnaces are hand built with painstaking labor and are designed to last z`a lifetime. You will never need to buy another furnace again. The fire chambers are made of a three inch thick 3100 degree glass contact material that is casted all at one time to assure there are absolutely no seams. The arched designed fire chamber is then backed with insulated fire brick. Cera Blanket surrounds the chamber and to assure efficiency, the blanket is then backed with high temperature board. In the end you end up with a total of twelve inches of insulation between the outer fire chamber wall and the metal shell. The metal shell is constructed of a 3/16 thick frame with 10 gauge sheet metal inlays. We are proud to say that our furnaces have the most insulation in the industry. As we all know the more insulation the less heat loss. This makes our furnaces more efficient then any of our competitors, saving the customer thousands of dollars in energy costs.

Each furnace comes with a Laclede Christy crucible which is easily changed through the front of the furnace. We use the famous Silicon Carbide Starbar elements from I Squared Element which could be changed while the furnace is hot. These elements are designed for the abusive environment of melting glass. The elements are located under the glass line to assure long life and the highest quality glass melt.
